FDA Claps Amino Asylum, Ronnie Coleman Hospitalized, Liver King Crashout
Also includes some new protein and exercise innovations

Powered by
GM,
Lot going on over these last few weeks in fitness from alleged FDA Raids of peptide stores, Liver King going bananas, Ronnie Coleman’s in the hospital, insane stuff. I also included some fitness innovations that came across my feed (TNF goated).
Two stories not included yet are the recently broken Stefi Cohen domestic abuse story and the King Azoulay allegations, both are developing and will be covered next.
The elites tried their hardest to keep it away from us. They even had the original manufacturer take Crystal Pump’s money and run. Sick shit, but we are back, despite the horrors.
If you’re looking for a preworkout that emphasizes clean caffeine, mental clarity, and sick pumps, check out this week’s sponsor: Crystal Pump.
It’s not a preworkout, it’s an experience.
Thank you mustache man, let’s get into this week.

The Liver King Crashout
Over the last few weeks, Brian Johnson (The Liver King) has posted probably closer to 40 reels, starting with a simple schizophrenic rant, working up to coffee enemas and direct threats to Joe Rogan while literally begging to go on his podcast, and ending in an actual arrest, restraining order, and ankle monitor.
The linked video is 3 hours of the Week 1 footage posted to his Instagram, which I have unfortunately watched in its entirety. Bookmarks and further analysis are on the way since this story seems to still be developing.
If you do decide to watch the full thing, realize you will not get that time back.
RICK THE STICK JOINS AMERICAN GLADIATORS
Amazon Prime Video is reviving the physical competition show American Gladiators featuring professional bodybuilders, former D1 athletes, crossfit champions, and fitness pros from around the world, according to Amazon (Entertainment Weekly).
Among these athletes joins the pencil-neck obliterator Rick Bugenhagen (aka Rick Boogs aka RICK THE STICK aka the king of horsecockery) who will be competing in feats of strength and stamina while having the stage presence to keep things interesting (sescoops.com).
Bugenhagen made the announcement on his Instagram late June

If you haven’t had the absolute privelege of watching his stuff, check out his Instagram and YouTube.

Ronnie Coleman Hospitalized
In the last few days, the family of Ronnie Coleman has posted a few updates via Instagram on the 8x Mr. Olympia Champion’s condition.
The family initially was keeping details close to the chest, but in the second statement posted by his family, they specifically state that he’s being treated to an infection in his bloodstream. The following are the family’s statements in order:

Death Penalty: Amino Asylum and Researchem
The online stores of Amino Asylum and Researchem have gone dark, with rumors swirling about FDA raids, who’s trying to take them down, and potential causes answering the question of “why now” for companies that have been operating with a lot of success in providing easily accessible experimental research chemicals to consumers.
Both stores offer similar products, but Amino Asylum seems to be the only one with FDA Raid claims.
Researchem is a UK-based online store that specializes in research chemicals, peptides, and SARMs, started in 2012 with their website now reading that they have “ceased accepting new orders through out website. As of June 25th , 2025, all orders have been shipped out.”
Amino Asylum is also an online store that specializes in research chemicals, peptides, and SARMs. Even with it being a relatively new name being started in 2022, it’s become a well-trusted name in the fitness community, and now has a blank website, with claims of an FDA raid surrounding the website shutdown. Unlike Researchem, Amino Asylum’s website only shows the logo, nothing else.
After some searching, it’s unclear where the rumor of the FDA raid on Amino Asylum began, maybe from this guy who “knows a guy who’s tied into the community.”
The question posed online seems to be “why now?” to which some forum discussions suggesting that larger pharmaceutical companies may be ordering hits or adding pressure as these small companies move into profitable drugs like GLP-1 drugs (like Ozempic), and tadalaphil (and other hair loss drugs).
One forum user suggested that drugs like Ozempic (2mg prefilled pen), which can be purchased through Good RX for $995, can be bought directly from China (10, 5mg vials) for $100. Which is where many of the US’s pharmaceuticals come from any way (Ozempic and Wegovy are made by Novo Nordisk based in Denmark).
I looked into this to see what I could find and it looks like claim is related to news featured in MarketWatch where a Chinese citizen tells the news outlet about his process for getting Ozempic in his country.
While United States customers are paying $997 and $1,3449 for a month’s supply of Ozempic and Wegovy, respectively, this man paid about $108 U.S dollars (798 yuan) for a one month supply that gets delivered within an hour on a bike with no delivery fee. European prices are right under $200 for the same amount.
Simply put, smaller companies creating easier and less expensive access to these drugs even the odds in the U.S market; and pose a clear threat to the pharmaceutical industry. The claim regarding the FDA raid on Researchem and Amino Asylum is still baseless at this time, as we usually get some sort of official announcement from the agency when something like this happens.
So until we get an FDA Bulletin or court documents, we don’t know exactly what’s going on. That being said, it wouldn’t be a stretch to assume there was some sort of action from the FDA on these companies to cause the shutdowns.

Unnecessary Protein Innovations
Cook a steak, drink some milk, bring a knife into a Walmart and slice open the plastic-covered beef and start shoveling it into your mouth, just stop putting protein into dumb shit.
It used to be just here and there, but I’ve gotten an unreal slew of food products on my feed that put the “low fat” trend to shame.
#1: Hot Sauce

Who did this? This is an upcoming product, promoted by STACK3D, that promises 30g of protein per bottle.
#2 Beer

I can’t talk too much shit about this as a concept, due to my absolute boys at Protochol Beverage creating the truly FIRST manufactured protein-infused alcoholic beverage, but this isn’t even beer. It’s non alcoholic, only 5 grams of protein, and it’s some IPA BS.

Congrats, you made a shitty Bolognese with whey, collagen, and bone broth. Not even going to go into that this basically crushing up pork rinds that are technically protein-packed, but won’t have a significant impact on muscle growth.

Thanks for tuning again, hoping to continue to improve the content and consistency.
In others news, I’ve got a new unpaid intern, Hyuna, who will be writing on this newsletter and helping with some content.
I still feel like the account is running on fumes at this point and has for the greater part of the year, but it ain’t over til it’s over.
Thank you for your continued support, get after it this week.
