Gamer Supps LEAN vs Homeland Security

What to do when you get a cease and desist from the Feds: Laugh

Gamer Supps, self-labeled as “The Official Energy Drink of Shitposting,” tweeted this photo depicting a Cease and Desist letter from the United States Secret Service regarding Joe Biden’s likeness being used on their “LEAN” flavored GG Energy Supplement.

In response, Gamer Supps put Groucho Marx glasses on Joe Biden’s face to avoid using Joe Biden’s likeness.

While this story was reported as entirely true by sites like Price Plow and Niche Gamer, it looks like there’s more to the story.

On the r/legaladviceofftopic subreddit, a user brought up this story asking a) If this is real, and b) If it’s legally sound.

Overall, the answer to both was a resounding no; with users suggesting it was a fake document.

One user pointed out similarities of Gamer Supp’s “Cease and Desist Letter,” and a letter sent to the National Security Archive regarding missing presidential records at Trump properties.

“The specks on the image are even in the exact same spots.”

The tweet from Gamer Supps featured in the screenshot from earlier has since been deleted.

Doesn’t take a genius to put 2 and 2 together, but whatever the case, outstanding move by the Gamer Supps team because it got a lot of attention. I am disappointed that it wasn’t real, but it was fun while it lasted.

While you may not be actively fighting the Feds by purchasing Gamer Supps LEAN, you can almost guarantee yourself a spot on a watchlist by ordering the unbridled anabolism that is Crystal Pump.

It’s so good that certain founders of other preworkout companies try to talk shit.
