Huck Finn Barbell’s New USAPL Team

Huck Finn Barbell (based communism hater) responded to the USA Powerlifting ruling that forces the organization to allow transgender male-to-females to compete alongside women at USAPL meets.

In this video, HFB announces that his friend and absolute unit @bigbossman48 will be competing in powerlifting meets as a woman.

Whether this is legit or not remains to be seen, but a demonstration like this is bound to happen sooner or later if the ruling extends to states outside of Minnesota.

California Law Would Ban Sour Patch Kids

The lizard people in California are at it again trying to ban the sale of performance enhancers.

While the headlines read like more government overreach, this ban specifically targets food additives including vegetable oil, potassium bromate, dye Red 3, and titanium dioxide; which may not be a bad thing.

All of these additives are banned in the EU and titanium dioxide specifically has been found to put people at risk of intestinal inflammation, immune system damage, and cancer.

Sergio Oliva Jr Arrested in Dubai

Long story short: Sergio Oliva was driving a car and hit a guy on a motorcycle. A different car hit the motorcycle after Sergio did. The motorcycle driver eventually died days later in the hospital.

Bodybuilding&BS reports that Sergio is currently out on bail but owes 200k to pay the family of the deceased driver.

Sports

Larry Wheels Classic Physique Update

After continuing to hint at competing, Larry Wheels appears to have entered the prep phase for Classic Physique based on his Instagram post captioned, “Starting prep for classic tomorrow with Ryan Benston.”

His attempt at Classic Physique was also confirmed at a speaking event at the Arnold Classic when he said he was considering shifting his content to documenting more of his Classic Physique journey and fewer feats of strength.

Chris Bumstead Trains with Ramon “Dino” Quieroz

In one of Chris Bumstead’s latest vlogs, he and fellow Classic Physique competitor Ramon Dino get in a back workout at the Olympia Headquarters in Phoenix, AZ.

The takes on this event seem to be either, “This is dumb because they should want to slaughter each other,” and, “This is great because it’s a step towards the competitive spirit and comradery that we saw in the Golden Era.”

Ivanko Barbell Brings Back the B-86 Bar

Ivanko Barbell announced via Instagram that the extra-strength allow steel B-86 Bar has returned and is engineered to hold well over 1,000 lbs of regular cast iron plates.

Home gym gang is going to love this one.

Business

Bodybuilding.com For Sale (Again)

Bodybuilding.com has been involved in three mergers and acquisitions transactions since July 2019.

More recently, it was acquired by Tai Lopez’s (Lamborghini garage knowledge guy) Retail E-Commerce Ventures.

The idea behind Retail E-Commerce Ventures was to buy distressed retail brands like Radioshack, Pier1 Imports, and BBCOM, modernize them to be highly profitable e-commerce retailers.

The idea made sense, but now those invested in Retail E-Commerce Ventures that were promised insane returns are speaking out and accusing Tai Lopez of fraud. BBCOM is caught in the middle of this fallout and will likely change hands once again.

CPG consultant and content creator Joshua Schall introduces this topic in a recent video.

Jack Owoc Out as VPX/Bang CEO

Jack Owoc, founder of Bang Energy / VPX Pharmaceuticals was officially ousted from his CEO position and removed from the board of directors. It is unclear what role, if at all, he will hold in the company moving forward.

There is speculation that Monster Energy may acquire Bang in the bankruptcy court auction on April 27, 2023.

JUSTWRK Energy Drink from Axe and Sledge

Seth Feroce’s brand, Axe and Sledge, joins Ryse and Redcon1 in supplement companies jumping into the energy drink space. It’s a relatively simple drink, 200 mg caffeine and B vitamins.

Rafi’s Desk

Preorders for the HIT MAXES EVADE TAXES are now closed. You can still place orders, but there’s no guarantee. Underdog Energy cans have been secured, and the drawing for the big 12 pack will happen soon. The order for the hoodies is being put in this week, I appreciate the support and the shared disrespect for the IRS.

I really like using this new email platform, I feel that there’s a lot more potential than the Substack. Let’s have ourselves another banger week.

Cigs are Cool.
